Songs have lives all their own," Lanky declares, "and the smartest thing I can
do is know when to work on them and when to leave them alone."
The latter being the choice for Last chance
for a first impression, Lanky’s second release for the indie label Imposter. The live EP, available March 15th, contains
all new songs that were developed and debuted in front of audiences during tour dates last year.
Also
containing a version of U2’s 1991 song Who’s gonna ride your wild horses, Last chance... is Lanky’s belated
postcard from the road. The songwriter, singer and guitar player spent 200 days of 2003 behind the wheel and behind his guitar
in support of his debut, Inner Onwriter. A release that received positive reviews from national press and airplay at AAA radio.
