Shü- Pronounced like Shoe (shoo)
What is Shü? Shü is an
original music, rock band, based out of the
Charlotte, North Carolina area.
Who is Shü? Shü is a group of
five very talented musicians with very
different musical influences and backgrounds. The band consists of Marius
Lee
on lead vocals, Chuck Clark on Rhythm Guitar, Rhett Heglar on Bass
Guitar, Mike Conrad on Lead guitar, and Tim White on
the Drums and
Percussion. See the individual band bios for more information on each

What
does Shü sound like? When you listen to Shü you will hear a fresh,
new, and unique sound. Yes you will hear
several influences from blues,
rock, soul, punk, and even country to name a few. There are various
musical influences
in each of our songs but none more prevalent than
others. Also listen closely to our lyrics. Shü chooses not
to write
meaningless, poppycock lyrics. We take the time and put thought and
meaning into our songs. We
pride ourselves on our music being diverse.
There is a chance that you may not like EVERY Shü song due to the diversity
of
sounds. But I guarantee that you will find something that you like,
even something that you love.
Who
does Shü sound like? Shü does not sound like any other group. We are
not a cookie cutter band with numerous
similar songs punched out one after
the other. We have our own diverse and distinct sound. As far as our
musical
style you can categorize Shü with bands such as 3 Doors Down,
Train or Matchbox 20.
What is the background of the
name Shü? Is there a hidden meaning? The
name originally came from a radio commercial about the local "Hotel
Charlotte"
restaurant. In the commercial one of the quotes was that the
restaurant has an "Old Shoe" feeling.
It is comfortable and fits well.
So, the original idea was "OLD SHOE". After much discussion the name was
later
shortened to just "Shü". The "ü" is just our artistic touch on the
name.
So why Shü?
The name is classy. It's different. It's cool. It's easy
to remember. It's easy to say. It rocks! Last but
not least Shü has a cool
logo!!!
